About Us

All Star Productions is a thriving London based theatre group formed in January 2006 by musician Aaron Clingham. It was his wish to form a company to produce primarily the works of American composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim. In 2006, we produced two works by Sondheim, firstly in September Marry Me a Little and Into The Woods, and started our 2007 season with Side by Side by Sondheim all at Hoxton Hall. For our next show, we performed at InterChange Studios in Belsize Park, with I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change! the first production of its kind to be staged at the venue since recently being developed as an arts centre. In September 2007, we performed Revue- The Musical Sondheim Edition at Theatro Technis in Camden and was delighted to perform there in March 2008 with our last show Assassins. As well as full scale musical productions we also stage one night concerts and cabaret evenings, the most recent being in December 07 at The Kings Head Islington. Following our sold out run of Assassins in March 2008, All Star Produtions in partnership with Ye Olde Rose and Crown Theatre Pub Ltd, acquired the lease for the large Victorian pub Ye Olde Rose and Crown situated on Hoe Street in Walthamstow. This provides the ideal opportunity for All Star Productions to not only have its own custom 60 seat studio theatre to rehearse and perform in, but also its own props and costume department.
